Privacy notice
ZENFLARE (PTY) LTD, registration 2025/343760/07, Worcester, Western Cape, is the responsible party under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). The Information Officer is Yusri Sedan, info@zenflare.digital.
What we collect
- To fulfil an order: your name, phone number, delivery address if you chose delivery, what you ordered, and the payment method you chose. We never see card numbers; a payment provider handles those when card payments are offered.
- From vendors: business name, contact details, address, products, bank or PayShap details for payouts and customer payments.
- From vendor applications: business name, your name, phone number, category, area and anything you add in the note.
- Automatically: what is searched on the street (without who searched it), and standard server logs. Your browser keeps your basket and your order links on your own device; we cannot read that store.
Why
To place, fulfil, track and message you about orders; to let the vendor you ordered from serve you; to issue vendor statements; to verify and rank vendors; to see what the town looks for so vendors can stock it; and to keep the marketplace safe. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who sees it
The vendor you ordered from sees the details of that order only. Our hosting provider stores the data in a data centre; a messaging provider carries order updates when that is switched on; a payment provider processes card payments when offered. Each is bound to use the information only for that purpose.
How long
Order records are kept for five years for accounting and dispute purposes, then deleted or anonymised. Applications we decline are deleted after twelve months. The search log holds no personal information.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to a use of it, by emailing info@zenflare.digital. You may complain to the Information Regulator (complaints.IR@justice.gov.za).
Security
Data is held on an encrypted connection, access to vendor desks and the admin is by PIN, and order pages are reached only through a private link. Vendor bank details are shown only on orders that chose bank transfer.
Children
The marketplace is for people aged 18 and over to order; younger people may order with a parent's phone number.
Changes
The date at the top changes when this notice does.
