The street

Draft of 13 October 2026. These terms describe how the marketplace works today. They will be reviewed by an attorney before card payments are switched on.

Customer terms

ZenFlare Marketplace is run by ZENFLARE (PTY) LTD, registration 2025/343760/07, of Worcester, Western Cape ("ZenFlare", "we"). By placing an order you agree to these terms.

1. What the marketplace is

The marketplace is a street of independent businesses ("vendors"). When you order, your contract for the goods or services is with the vendor named on that part of the order, not with ZenFlare. ZenFlare provides the ordering, tracking and messaging, verifies vendors by visiting them, and mediates when something goes wrong.

2. Orders

An order is placed when you complete checkout. One checkout may contain parts from several vendors; each part is a separate order with its own reference, status and route (collection, delivery, hot run or a booked slot). A vendor may decline or cancel an order that it cannot fulfil, in which case you are told and any payment is returned the way it was made.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in rand and are set by each vendor. You pay the vendor directly: at collection or on delivery, or by bank transfer or PayShap using the vendor's details and the order reference shown on your order page. ZenFlare does not hold your money. When card payments are offered, the payment is split at checkout by the payment provider so that each vendor's share goes to that vendor. Delivery fees and courier estimates are shown before you place the order; a courier estimate may be confirmed by the vendor before dispatch.

4. Collection, delivery and bookings

Collection is at the branch shown on the order. Delivery is to the address you give, within the zone you chose. A booking request is confirmed by the vendor; a slot is not held until the vendor confirms it. Please be reachable on the phone number you gave.

5. Cancellations, returns and refunds

You may cancel an order before the vendor accepts it. After acceptance, cancellations, returns and refunds follow the vendor's own policy shown on its store page, and the Consumer Protection Act. Refunds are made by the vendor the way you paid. Made-to-order food and booked services may not be cancellable once preparation or the appointment has started.

6. Messages

We send you one message per order step, by the channel shown at checkout, with a link back to your order page. Messages tell you what is happening; they do not take orders. You can stop messages for an order by contacting us, but then you must check the order page yourself.

7. Points

Where shown, points are a loyalty preview. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or paid out, expire, and may be changed or withdrawn. They are never money.

8. Disputes

Speak to the vendor first. If that does not resolve it, email info@zenflare.digital with the order reference and ZenFlare will mediate. ZenFlare may remove a vendor from the street for poor conduct. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under South African consumer law.

9. Your information

We collect only what an order needs. See the privacy notice.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do. Orders placed before a change follow the terms in force when they were placed.
